When you outgrow your position, leave

The worst thing you could do being in the IT industry is trap yourself in a job which you have outgrown years ago.

The best thing you could do is take the next step.

Explore your options.

Fear stops many people from being more than what they are. Where you are now, doesn't reflect where you can be because the past doesn't equal the future.

When you have build a road map of where you want your IT career to go, consciously decide how long you will need to keep yourself at each step. If you don't feel ready to leave your current job because there is more to learn, then stay. But definitely leave when your job has becomes child's play. Stretch your wings and challenge yourself.
