Study skills are built without you realizing it

	Putting into effect these techniques isn’t difficult. It's not time consuming. And because you are actively engaging in your study, you will find the time passing more pleasantly than if you were forcing yourself to study. Building study skills will not only help you with this certification you are studying - it will help you with all certifications you will do the rest of your career.

Now there are a further 2 things you will need to do before starting your study adventure!

1. A results schedule will motivate you

Creating a results sechedule will see you keep to your goals and also as you see your progress steadily going forward, you will become more and more motivated.

You will also watch your study skills being built as you find they make it easier for that study material to become second nature to you.

So, if your certification book is 800 pages for example, your results schedule should have daily goals of how many pages you want to read and take notes.

As you create power notes as we discussed, to build your study skills, you will find that you are half way to learning the material. Now all you need to do is the below...

2. Don't take your book everywhere - take your notes.

As you finish your note writing, the book should then go into your library and used as a reference. Now you have your power notes to revise the material.

Don't wait till you have all your notes written before studying. As you complete each section, take your notes and revise them at anytime you can.

If you take notes during the evening (when you come home from work), then revise your notes throughou the next day. Ingesting small pieces of information in small amounts of time througout the day, is a much better way of learning.
