So if you are a Kinesthetic learner for example, work on your home lab to understand the concepts while reading the book. If you are a Auditory learner for example, listen to your auditory tutorials while simultaneously reading the book. And how do you apply all this to writing your power notes? Follow the book and while you are learning the concepts with your preferred learning style, write power notes describing how you saw or heard something while following the book. Describing things in your notes on how you saw/heard them and re-reading your notes, you will be able to see those pictures in your mind or if you listened to the tutorials, you will be able to recall that voice in your mind when reading your notes. Follow this example on how you prefer to learn. The point of all of this is not to force yourself to study for your certifications with learning styles that don't suit you, because then learning will not be natural to you.
