Security Plus Certification - A Hackers Origin

I was watching an episode of Star Trek TNG where Q transported Picard billions of years back to earth and was showing him a pool filled with slimy, green, gooey stuff. "This is the pool of life," Q said. "This is where you began".

Side Note: If you have no clue what I'm talking about, shame on you. Watch all seven seasons of Star Trek TNG or go sit in the corner.

And this is where the hacker begins, in the gooey pool of life called the Security Plus certification.

No. You won't learn how to hack. "Walk before you run," some famous guy said. Here you will learn exciting stuff like Social Engineering (tricking people into giving you company information, passwords and anything your little heart desires), Types of attacks, Forensics, just to name a few.

Of course, you won't get to do all that. It's theory. "Walk before you run," some famous guy said. I repeat.

Plus, to get you extra excited, I'll tell you that you will also learn alot of terminology. I knew you would love that. Where would certification be without it?

So buckle up and enjoy the ride

This is a great cert to get under your belt, whether your aim is to get into the security part of things or not. Although it is an entry cert, it covers a lot and everything in it, no matter which track you want to follow, is great to know.

So I recommend you do this one.
