Network's sophistication is evolving rapidly. Growing from a basic transport system, networks are becoming more of a business-critical application and services delivery platform. Therefore, skills need to keep pace with them. And specialized skills are in demand.

Which skills are high up the list?

Companies are already investing heavily in new tools and infrastructure. The CCNA certification now has specialized branches - to feed the need experienced by Managers. These certifications are:

2. CCNA Voice
3. CCNA Wireless

So should you specialize?

There is a significant rise towards role-dedication and according to the managers surveyed they foresee this trend growing over the next five years.
