Mistakes are great - don't be afraid to make more

An easy victory doesn't teach you much. A mistake does. Instead of feeling bad about making it, think of what that error in judgment has given you.

If nothing else, it did provide you another way of thinking. It prompt you to learn more and find a better solution.

I had this friend, a computer technician that hated making mistakes. I mean, really hated it. He was such a perfectionist that he would make me sick at times.

One of the best things to make mistakes with is with computers. I purposely made mistakes so I could see just what would happen. Of course I had another computer connected to the internet so if I screwed up beyond repair I could at least go online to seek help. You learn so much more seeing just where something can take you.

But make sure your mistakes are intelligent and not dumb. Dumb mistakes are those that you repeat over and over, the same ones without learning anything from them.
