Which MCP Certification certifies you as such?
Take one MCP certification exam and you are an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional). The benefits are, you are showing potential employers that you have the necessary knowledge/experience to tackle a specific area of the MS products. So decide on the track first,
Then go to the Microsoft website and click on the cert that interests you. Once you click you will find a number of exams you will need to pass. Choose ONE of those exams to start off with. Passing it makes you an MCP. Then continue to study and pass the rest of the exams. Let me give you an example... Let's say you wanted to follow the MCDST track. Ok. So you click and find out there are two exams you need to pass to become a MCDST.
Pass one (the 70-271 exam for instance) and you become an MCP. Pass both and you become a MCDST. So you are in essence gaining two certs.
