To avoid sitting an Exam MCSE, Use Your Comptia Certs as Electives

There are many exams to sit to become an MCSE, avoid at least one by using your Comptia certs as an elective. You can use your the Security+ cert.

What you need first

First you will need to get your MCP identification number (MCP ID). You get this after passing at least one of the MCSA or MCSE exams. Your ID number will be sent by email. This number will be sent to you whether you pass or fail.

How to apply for this

Have your score report ready. If you have lost it, contact prometric.com or vue.com (depending on which you used to book your exam). Now go to the CompTIA website to see your records. Click on the 'publish credentials" and provide your MCP ID on the form. This will send your information to Microsoft. From there on you will receive notification from Microsoft.
