Countdown to Shutdown

So I go on a random school computer, and a guy made a shortcut called internet explorer and changed the icon to look like it. Then he timed in the cmd codes shutdown -s. and when i went to internet explorer. my computer froze, and got a warning shutdown for 25 seconds. there was nothing i could do but watch.
