1. What is the Comptia Convergence plus certification?

According to CompTIA, this cert validates the knowledge and skills in the area of Communications Technologies (CT).

Where datacomm, telephony/telecommunications, video and broadcast multimedia technologies combine into a single IP-based delivery system.

2. Is this certification valuable?

Many people in the forums don't hold this certification in high regard. Most people that do this cert will go for it only if the employer is paying for it. Not because there is anything wrong with learning something new - but always value certification to what they can give you. Is it worth studying for this exam so you can learn something new? ---- Always. Will this cert get you a job? --- Hardly.

3. What are the exam requirements?

There is one exam (exam: CT0-101) to pass which consists of 90 questions. You have 90 minutes to complete it in. The vendor recommends you have 18 to 24 months of work experience in areas that include data networking, VoIP, and other convergence related technologies, but this is not necessary.
