With the certification network plus can I get more than 15 bucks an hour?
--- Asked by reader
If you had other experience, like say you were a programmer for 5 years and decided you wanted to get into networking... then yes, the money would reflect your experience. And experience doesn't only mean on that specific subject. But if this is your first job going into IT, your first certification is the Network+ and you expect good pay, then I'm afraid you will be disappointed. But cheer up. Entry level certifications, give you entry level job opportunities. That's not where the money is, it's where the opportunity lays. The money comes later. When you reach a stage that you can get higher level certifications and reach a stage where your experience is on the same level as the higher certification you are trying to get. Seriously, forget the 15 bucks an hour. Use your certification network plus to get a job which will give you experience which you can use to build on and really get to where the money is. I know it sucks making 15 bucks an hour but understand that you don't have to be there for long. Advance.
