Certification Cisco Test CCNA Review

Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide: Exam 640-802

certification cisco test

by Todd Lammle

Ok so in this certification cisco test book the first thing I liked is the way its written. I hate reading books that are so technical that bore you within the first few paragraphs. Although some would prefer a more formal style of writing, I found the authors conversational style actually drawing me in to read more. And because he ‘talk’s to you, I found that I actually understood things better.

It’a great book for the beginner because the author explains things assuming you know nothing of the subject. Someone that has years of experience may find this annoying. But you can't please everyone. It does cover the exam objectives well so if you feel this book will be too basic for you, try the Cisco press books for a deeper understanding.

The author provides many examples which help you understand routing and switching (very important). You also get practice exams which saves you having to buy extra practice exams.

What I didn’t like was the video content offered with the book – but for the price of the book you can’t really complain – but I have to let you know. When I see a video of a presentation and instead of seeing a graphical presentation I see a person sitting on a chair behind a desk and ‘talking’ I get bored out of my mind.

Another minus to this book is that it contains some errors, but which book doesn’t. Overall it’s a great book. You can now save 40% off on this book.
